Opening Hours
Our regular Visitor Experience opening hours are:
Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 4pm
Sunday: 9am - 3pm
Public holidays: 9am - 3pm
CLOSED: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Anzac Day, and Good Friday.
Bad weather? No problem. Our experience is indoors so you can have a great time - rain, hail or shine.
*Outback Trek Café opening hours are slightly different from the Visitor Experience opening hours*.
Our regular Café opening hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 9am-2.00pm
Tuesdays: CLOSED
Saturday & Sunday: 9am–2pm
Public Holidays: CLOSED
The kitchen closes at 1.30pm.

Getting to Dubbo

Flying
The flight from Sydney to Dubbo takes about an hour. The airport here is one of Australia’s main regional airports. You can choose from four major airlines providing about 200 flights a week to and from Dubbo.
Once you get here, the airport’s is nearby the ‘A day in a life’ Visitor Experience. You will require a quick taxi drive to get here.

Driving
If you’re coming by car, it’s a five to six hour drive from Sydney, Canberra or Newcastle. Have some extra time? Enjoy the beautiful scenic route. You can even stop along the way to explore the region's wonderful wineries, historic villages and other attractions.
